Our Creative team’s mission is to build the world’s most relevant, usable and trustworthy scientific content library, in order to power BioRender as the go-to trusted place for science communication.

Our Science Designers sit within our broader Creative team, and work directly within BioRender to expand our scientific template library alongside Medical and Technical Illustrators.

As a Science Designer at BioRender, you can expect to help improve the usability and development of our product/platform through consultation and testing. You will be working on projects that will develop strategies to drive template creation and engagement to ensure customers are continually getting value out of the product. Within our internal BioRender team, you will collaborate closely with other Science Designers, Medical Illustrators, Technical Illustrators, Marketing, Product, and Engineering.

About our Science Designer interview process

Our interview process is carefully designed for us to get to know each other well. We aim to holistically understand your skills, experience, and potential, as well as how our mission and values resonate with you. Transparently, our interview process is not short (but it can be fast!) - we want to get to know you, and it’s important that you get to know us, too: we welcome your questions throughout the process. We believe that career decisions should be made with care, intention, and plentiful information on both sides. This creates better long-term hiring outcomes and a better experience for everyone.

We view the candidate experience as a critical factor in making a decision to work at BioRender, so we want to provide you with the best experience possible. Please let your Recruiter or Coordinator know if you have questions or should you need anything at all.
